Edward Walters set up E F Walters Ltd in July 2009 to provide business consultancy advice to Farmers, Landowners, the agricultural food market and rural businesses. Edward gained a BSC (Hons) degree from Harper Adams in 2000, in 2003 he joined Aubourn Farming, that later became the Agri Business department within Savills. Edward specialised in farm business consultantancy, farm agency and estate management. E F Walters Ltd was set up in 2009 to provide a rural consultancy service priding itself on a dynamic personal service.
The core business focuses on providing farm and estate management advice to farmers and landowners, preparing accounts and working closely with the client reporting on the financial and physical performance of the business to ensure the businesses success. We use state of the art systems and account packages which enables us to provide clients with a clear business synopsis and forward strategy.
Edward Walters is an accredited member of the Central Association for Agricultural Valuers (CAAV), this network of rural professionals ensures we are at the forefront of new legislation and changes to rural and farming policy issues. Edward is a key part of the farming community, he sits on committees for the Berkshire branch of the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) and the Newbury and District Agricultural Society, he is joint secretary for the South Berks Agricultural Association and is a Fellow of the Worshipful Company of Farmers. Edward is very passionate about farming and the countryside, he is a key decision marker in the family farm and turkey business Walters Turkeys giving him practical experience and up to date knowledge.
